Maura Chamberlain has been sketching our Gardens' collection of Macquarie Island plants on a weekly basis since November last year. Her illustrations of Macquarie Island orchids were submitted to the Margaret Flockton Award for Excellence in Botanical Illustration, currently being exhibited at The Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney, until 24th June 2021. Congratulations Maura on your remarkable illustrations and for raising the profile of these enigmatic orchids, the most southerly growing orchids in the world.
